1.2 million YouTube views that is how many views our featured artist received in JUST one week, yes JUST one week. His been making music since the age of 13 and has only become a recognised artist now? How does that work? Sitting at the back of a restaurant 18 year old Mac gives me the answers to some of the questions I have wanted answered for a very long time. Mac is an artist that I have been following for a very long time, as I am a hip-hop connoisseur after all; I have seen him develop over the years and was always very talented ever since he entered the game. However everything is not all rosey in the life of Mac as he has struggled to get to where he is now and he has overcome many, many obstacles on his road to success some of which he is willing to share with us today, some exclusive information just for his fans. First of all, Mac how did you get into making hip hop music? “Well it started off with a group of people that I affiliated with; we didn’t start making music all of a sudden a lot of things happened which made us want to change the life we were living, as all this was happening I was having a lot of trouble at home as my parents split up and my mother and all my siblings left to go to America without telling me”.  So Mac let us know about your journey into the hip hop scene? “Well as you know I do face a lot of criticism due to my lyrics but that is how it is and I’m just being real, the police have affected my progress a lot! Stopping me from attending shows all I am trying to do is promote myself so it has been hard that's why I have thought of taking a break from music after I release a few tracks". So Mac what can the music scene expect from you before you take a break, " Well I'm in process of making a mix tape of a variety of different beats American and British and I'm also in the process of starting an album with another artist which will be released later this year, before I take a break I want to release the music I have produced for my fans to listen to". It was great learning about your journey Mac and how it all started and for that the team thanks you!
